Let Me Introduce Myself

Firstly, my name is Dr. Jamie LaViola. I grew up in South Florida and have been practicing as a dentist for over 15 years.

I love basketball, spending my free time enjoying the outdoors, and being a dad to my 10-year-old son. My interest in dentistry developed early on due to my father being a dentist. After graduating with my Bachelors of Science from Florida Atlantic University, I decided to pursue dentistry at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine.

Schooling and Experience

Upon becoming a Doctor of Dental Medicine, I started working with my father at his practice. In 2009, I completed a three-year residency for specialization in oral implantology. I have worked in multiple offices in Virginia before finally settling down at Dental Masters of Alexandria and expanding my practice to McLean.

Due to my love of education, I have continued my studies at the Kois Center in Seattle, WA. I have since become a mentor for other dentists. Through the Kois Center, as well as many other institutions, I have obtained valuable tools to help me in this field. These include techniques and licensure to perform IV conscious sedation and all aspects of surgical implant management. I have also taught courses and worked on patients on 3 different continents!

Changing Lives One Smile At A Time

As a dentist, I believe my job is not only to fix teeth but rather to change people’s lives. Our motto at Dental Masters is “changing lives one smile at a time.” I consider the best way to achieve excellent results and excellent experience with an emphasis on overall patient health.

Aside from being your family’s restorative dentist, we will also offer solutions to TMJ, worn teeth, alignment, and surgical implant placement and management! This includes gum grafting, bone growth, and sinus management.

We understand how procedures can give you dental anxiety. Because of this, we offer sedation options to help lessen your worries. We will now offer options from nitrous oxide, conscious sedation, or deep sedation with a board-certified anesthesiologist.

Since these procedures can sometimes be difficult for some patients, we will also be able to offer you sedation options to help with dental anxiety. If you have any questions about who I am, you can view my website here, or by going to DrLaViola.com

I look forward to meeting all of you and being able to change your lives for the better!

Best,

Jamie J. LaViola, DMD
